Virginia, a native New Englander, is a licensed California Real Estate Broker. She has a bachelor's degree from Northeastern University and a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Santa Clara. Before becoming a real estate sales executive, she worked in biomedical research and co-authored 21 professional publications. After getting her MBA, she worked as a marketing manager for several Silicon Valley high tech firms, where she identified strategic business opportunities, negotiated business agreements and planned new products.

Virginia has been listing and selling residential real estate in the San Francisco Bay Area communities near Stanford University since 1985. She enjoys helping homebuyers and sellers identify their own personal needs and goals. She feels one of the most interesting parts of a real estate transaction is helping each client devise and implement a personal plan of action. There is a level of satisfaction, not just in doing the job well, but knowing you've done the job in a way that uniquely meets a client's needs.

Using the Internet and new technologies helps her accomplish these goals, not only locally but globally, enabling her to reach new customers, to do more creative marketing and to communicate with the parties in a real estate transaction more effectively.

Virginia has been a resident of Portola Valley for more than 35 years. She is a member of the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. She is also a member of the League of Woman Voters, a past President of the Alpine Hills Association in Portola Valley and a member of the Town of Portola Valley's Sustainability Committtee.
